
DR. SAMUEL E. SELTZER
Dr. Samuel E. Seltzer formed his practice in South Carolina in 1989 and has endeavored to provide the most technologically advanced ophthalmology care in the region. Well-known and widely respected, Dr. Seltzer specializes in state-of-the-art small incision cataract surgery. Over the past 20 years, he has performed over 40,000 intraocular surgeries.
Dr. Seltzer earned his BS Degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York and served his internship in internal medicine at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia.
Dr. Seltzer is a board-certified ophthalmologist, a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, a member of Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Medical Society, a Fellow of the American Board of Ophthalmology, and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. In addition, he has devoted his time to participating in local charity work.
