Dr. Chad A. Carlsson graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2003 with honors and then furthered his education and clinical experience by completing a residency in Binocular Vision Disorders in 2004. From there, Dr. Carlsson started Carlsson Family Eye Center in 2006 and earned a fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry in 2008. Dr. Carlsson started and ran his own practice in Gilbert, AZ, specializing in myopia management, medically necessary contact lenses, dry eye therapy, and ocular disease.
Dr. Carlsson has been dedicated to the practice of optometry for almost twenty years. After having owned his own practice in Arizona for nearly 15 years, he decided to move to South Carolina and is excited to bring his expertise and passion to the PeeDee Region.
