Dr. Theodore Newman is one of the most caring eye professionals I have had the pleasure of having for 41 plus years. Dr. Newman will go the extra mile to make sure all is well and make sure you are at ease with the eye examine, since I've been having more eye appointments, every six months, due to getting older and other eye issues. Dr. Newman does not rush you in and out, he really cares about his patients and actually listens.When he enters the examination room, Dr. Newman will ask about how you and your family members are doing, and if there are any questions, before the eye examine. Dr. Newman is soft spoken, but firm with his instructions for the patient to follow eye health. Dr. Newman is well respected not only as a professional, but within the community of Hartsville. I just can't imagine what it would be like without him at the Carolina Centers for Sight in Hartsville. Thank you, Dr. Newman, for being the BEST!Also, I want to give kudos to Crystal Hatchell, Dr. Newman's assistant. I've only known Crystal for the past two years and already her training skills are amazing. During my eye examinations, I can hear her typing away with instructions from Dr. Newman. She is great, makes me feel at ease, and is very caring, I was so happy to see her still working with Dr. Newman. Being around Crystal is like being with a friend you haven't seen in years. Crystal is a great asset to the Carolina Centers for Sight in Hartsville and to Dr. Newman. Not only do they work well together there is a mutual respect and professionalism. An employer wouldn't want to lose her for a better offer, so I hope she is paid her worth, if not, y'all need to give her a raise. Crystall has my five-star rating.
